At the end of the webinar participants will be able to:
- Assess the risk of acquiring HIV infection from different types of exposures to blood and/or body fluids in the work place or community setting.
- Identify when and how to prescribe post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), and appropriate follow up of patients after an exposure.
- Counsel patients on HIV prevention and after a potential exposure to HIV.
