HIV/AIDS Webinar Learning Series – Strategies for HIV Prevention: What’s New in Post-Exposure Prophylaxis?

At the end of the webinar participants will be able to:

  • Assess the risk of acquiring HIV infection from different types of exposures to blood and/or body fluids in the work place or community setting.
  • Identify when and how to prescribe post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), and appropriate follow up of patients after an exposure.
  • Counsel patients on HIV prevention and after a potential exposure to HIV.

Canada Post has provided notification of restarting their operations on December 17, 2024. As Canada Post ramps up and stabilizes their services, the BC-CfE will continue the following measures on an interim basis to minimize service disruption to BC-CfE clients and providers.
