On Wednesday February 15th, the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS Forefront Lecture Series will be presenting a lecture by Dr. Jason Grebely titled “Prevention and management of Hepatitis C among people who use drugs.”
Dr. Jason Grebely is a Senior Lecturer in the Viral Hepatitis Clinical Program of The Kirby Institute for infection and immunity in society at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Jason completed his BSc in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and his PhD in Pharmacology at the University of British Columbia before moving to Australia, where he completed his Post Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Epidemiology at the Kirby Institute. He continues to work at the Kirby Institute as a Senior Lecturer and NHMRC Career Development Fellow where his research interests include epidemiology, natural history and therapeutic strategies for acute and chronic HCV infection in injection drug users.
The talk will be at 12pm in the New Lecture Theatre at St. Paul’s Hospital (Please note this lecture is not being held at Hurlburt Auditorium).
