This event, as part of UBC’s Centennial celebrations, is open to the public and will highlight how the implementation of the Treatment as Prevention (TasP) strategy has saved lives and changed how we treat HIV – in Canada and around the world.
Celebrating HIV Research and Results will feature a plenary talk, panel sessions, and poster presentations. Hear from community representatives and some of the most influential researchers in the fields of medicine, addiction, HIV/AIDS, including the Director of the BC-CfE and Head of UBC Division of AIDS, Dr. Julio Montaner, and Dr. Evan Wood, and Dr. Rolando Barrios to name a few.
This event is free of charge. A light lunch will be provided. Please note that seating is limited.
