We are pleased to invite you to attend the 2024 Fall BC-CfE Update on the global HIV/AIDS pandemic. The Update will address the status of the global HIV/AIDS epidemic with an emphasis on regional efforts to accelerate epidemic control.
Following this conference, attendees will be able to:
- Describe the varying HIV/AIDS epidemiological trends across the globe
- Identify the key treatment and prevention strategies needed to accelerate HIV/AIDS control globally
- Explain the role of barriers to service access and possible means to ameliorate these
- Illustrate the cost-effectiveness of treatment and prevention strategies
This is a hybrid event, with in-person or virtual attendance. Please note that in-person attendance is limited, and therefore, we urge you to pre-register as soon as possible. This is an open educational event sponsored by the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. This one credit-per-hour Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the British Columbia Chapter for up to 4.5 Mainpro+® credits [SESSION ID# 202717-001].
