President Obama in his address to Parliament says we have to work together to achieve an AIDS Free Generation. This is not the first time a US President has said this nor is it the first time the US administration has acknowledged Canada’s role in moving us closer to achieving this goal. As early as 2006 President Clinton identified the key role of Canada & BC in developing this strategy, and did so again in major public speeches in 2008, 2010 and 2012. In 2011 Obama and in 2012 Hillary Clinton highlighted the need to move toward an AIDS Free Generation using Treatment as Prevention.
