At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

1. Intellectualize & have an emotional understanding of the determinants of health (including experiences of trauma and cultural identity) that drive the health inequities experienced by Indigenous Peoples in Canada
2. Describe the attributes of a trauma informed practice and organization
3. Describe the experience of “cultural safety” and the practices that promote culturally safe care for Indigenous Peoples
4. Recognize the importance of decolonizing the health care system in order to promote health equity for Indigenous Peoples

Presentations will be followed by a discussion where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive real-time responses from presenters.
