At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Briefly communicate to a patient the basic neurophysiology of pain and why treatment is biopsychosocial.
- Describe the overlap with pain and addiction and how some of the basic treatment strategies are similar.
- Identify principles of perioperative pain management in patients on opioid agonist therapy.
Presentations will be followed by a discussion where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive real-time responses from presenters.
