Canada Research Chair in Access to Medicines, University of British Columbia

Dr. Michael Law is the Canada Research Chair in Access to Medicines at The University of British Columbia. His research focuses on pharmaceutical policy, including the affordability of medicines, the evaluation of pharmaceutical policy changes, and generic drug pricing. Currently, his program of research includes studies in several countries, including Canada, Rwanda, Uganda, Namibia, and Colombia. His research results have been published in several leading medical journals and have received both major research awards and significant media coverage.


This is a free lecture and is open to the public. The lectures are geared towards researchers, clinicians, students and hospital staff.

  • St. Paul’s Hospital Ambulatory Pharmacy has transitioned to private courier for delivery of medications. (Contact Information: Phone 1-800-547-3622; FAX 604-806-8675)

During this time, we recommend that documents be faxed or couriered to our sites, versus utilization of regular mail service.
