Following this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe broadly studies to date that have measured immune responses to COVID-19 vaccination in people living with HIV
- Summarize the results from a Vancouver-based study that is comparing antibody responses to COVID-19 vaccination among people living with HIV who are receiving suppressive antiretroviral therapy, compared to a control group of individuals without HIV
- Recognize factors that influence the antibody response to COVID-19 vaccines, which include age, a higher number of chronic conditions, and the type of initial vaccine regimen received.
Presentations will be followed by a discussion where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive real-time responses from presenters.
