The lifetime experiences of gay and bisexual men differ across generations. Some studies have proposed that these varied histories can impact attitudes towards sex and alter sexual behaviours. CANOC fact sheet: Learn about the largest nationwide study of people living with HIV on treatment

This week, we are sharing a fact sheet on the Canadian Observational Cohort (CANOC): Canada’s largest multi-province study of people living with HIV on antiretroviral therapy. CANOC is an integrated network of all registered treatment information from eleven cohort databases across British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland. This collaboration of national researchers and select databases establishes policy-relevant studies in HIV therapeutics, population and public health.

Highlights: BC-CfE Research at CAHR 2019 in Saskatoon!

In addition to leading a number of ancillary events, researchers from the BC-CfE presented important findings at this year’s CAHR Conference in Saskatoon-including several Peer Research Associates offering a community perspective. The 28th Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research is the premier gathering in Canada for those working in all disciplines of HIV/AIDS research, as well as policy makers, persons living with HIV and other individuals committed to ending the pandemic.
