Peer Research Associate

Working under the direction of the Research Coordinators for the Hope to Health Engagement and Retention Evaluation (HERE) Study and the STOP HIV/AIDS Program Evaluation (SHAPE) Study, the Peer Research Associate is an integral member of both research teams. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to support participants who self-identify as Indigenous through their own lived experience and provide input into the study procedures, data collection tools and research outputs with attention to issues relevant to Indigenous study participants.

Research Coordinator, Indigenous Health Research

Working under the direction of the Senior Research Scientists and the Director of the Epidemiology & Population Health Program, the Research Coordinator assists in the planning, development, and implementation of mixed-methods research and evaluation work centred around improving health outcomes and health care services for Indigenous Peoples Living with and impacted by HIV, HCV and other related conditions. The ideal candidate for this role will be enthusiastic to support and grow a program of Indigenous Health Research integrated across the Epidemiology and Population Health Program at the BC-CfE, as supported by the Senior Scientists and research teams.  There is tremendous growth potential for this role, and they will benefit from support from Indigenous Peer Research Associates and opportunities for collaboration with community organizations across the province.
