A partir desta quarta-feira (21/10), o portal do Departamento de DST, Aids e Hepatites Virais (DDAHV) do Ministrio da Saúde publicará matrias semanais em preparação à abertura – em novembro – do 10º Congresso de HIV/Aids e do 3° Congresso de Hepatites Virais “Novos Horizontes, Novas Respostas”. Os dois eventos serão realizados entre os dias 17 e 20 de novembro, em João Pessoa, e pretendem abrir um valioso espaço de debate em torno desses dois grandes temas.
A ocasião propÃcia: no ano em que se celebram os 30 anos de luta contra o HIV/aids no Brasil, uma srie de importantes avanços foram alcançados em ambos os temas. Neste novo momento de protagonismo, o Brasil tem ousado ao colocar em pauta uma srie de estratgias inovadoras que abrem perspectivas promissoras à resposta nacional a esses agravos.

Cerca de 2.500 participantes são esperados para os quatro dias de intensa programação dos dois congressos, que reunirão diversos Ãcones nacionais e internacionais da luta contra as epidemias em pauta – como o premiado mdico e pesquisador Julio Montaner, argentino, que dirige o Centro de Excelência em HIV/Aids da Columbia Britânica, no Canadá, e o criador da estratgia “Treatment as key to Prevention” (TasP); a infectologista Beatriz Grinsztejn, chefe do Laboratório de Pesquisa ClÃnica em DST e Aids do Instituto de Pesquisa ClÃnica Evandro Chagas (IPEC), da Fiocruz, e coordenadora da plataforma do estudo PrepBrasil; e o gastroenterologista francês Marc Bourlire, chefe do departamento de Hepato-Gastroenterologia do Hospital Saint Joseph, em Marselha, para citar alguns.
CARDÃPIO – Para acompanhar o tom inovador dos congressos de HIV/Aids e de Hepatites Virais, os congressos terão atividades dinâmicas e interativas – como as plenárias (as principais sessões dos eventos, reunindo todos os participantes para abordar assuntos especÃficos); mesas-redondas (com especialistas e moderador e intervenções da plateia); simpósios (com debate direto entre expositores e participantes); apresentação de práticas bem-sucedidas no Brasil (relatos de participantes), de pôsteres (trabalhos e pesquisas) e trabalhos orais. Ao mesmo tempo, a Vila Social estará fervilhando com uma programação organizada por 14 entidades nacionais de luta contra a Aids e as Hepatites Virais envolvidas de corpo e alma na programação. A Vila Social ainda será um local de debates, rodas de conversa, exposições e muitas outras atividades inovadoras.
Congress of HIV/Aids and viral hepatitis happens in November
From this Wednesday (21/10), the portal of the STDs, Aids and viral hepatitis (DDAHV) of the Ministry of health will publish weekly materials in preparation to opening-in November-10th Congress of HIV/Aids and of 3° of viral hepatitis Conference “new horizons, New Responses”. The two events will be held between November 17 and 20, in João Pessoa, and intend to open a space of debate around these two great themes.
The timing is propitious: the year that celebrate the 30 years of the fight against HIV/aids in Brazil, a number of important advances have been achieved in both themes. In this new moment of prominence, Brazil has dared to put on the agenda a number of innovative strategies that open promising prospects to the national response to these diseases.

MENU- To accompany the innovative tone of the congresses of HIV/Aids and viral hepatitis, the congresses have dynamic and interactive activities-such as the plenary (the main sessions of the events, bringing together all the participants to address specific issues); round tables (with experts and moderator and interventions from the audience); symposia (with direct debate between exhibitors and participants); presentation of successful practices in Brazil (reports of participants), posters (works and research) and oral works. At the same time, the Social Village will be swarming with a schedule organized by 14 national entities in the fight against Aids and viral hepatitis involved in body and soul in the programming. The village is a place of Social debates, wheels of conversation, exhibitions and many other innovative activities.
