--Clinical Coordinator--
BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS
Hope to Health Complex

The BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS’ Downtown Eastside Research and Innovation Centre is a unique and innovative health clinic comprised of a multidisciplinary clinical team focused on providing primary and specialty care for patients/clients in the Downtown Eastside. The high-quality care provided by the clinical team focuses on HIV/AIDS, HCV and other infectious diseases and is supported and enhanced by ongoing research, innovation and wellness promotion.

Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, this position coordinates the day to day operations of the Clinic and supervisies staff and acts as a clinical resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members in the provision of complex health care to client/patients in the Downtown Eastside. The high-quality care provided by the clinical team focuses on HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases and is supported and enhanced by ongoing research, innovation, and wellness promotion.

Qualifications:

Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN or RPN registrant. Three (3) years’ recent related experience working with diverse marginalized populations in a community/Primary Care, HIV, Hep C, and Substance Use and/or Mental health setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Completion of the Point of Care HIV Testing course and successful completion of the BCCDC Immunization certificate and Narcan Certification and/or commitment to complete within (6) months of hire. 
  • Demonstrated experience and/or successful completion of recent education/training in performing venipuncture

START DATE: As soon as possible

LOCATION: 611/625 Powell Street, BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS, Vancouver, BC, and various other local BC-CfE locations as required.
